Borough Market is London’s premier gourmet food market. Located by the River Thames close to London Bridge Borough Market is London’s oldest fruit and veg market. There has been a food market in the area for over 1000 years.
Borough market is now home to over 100 stalls selling fresh produce from all over the British Isles. including fish, meats, vegetables, fruits, ciders, cheeses, breads, and cakes It has a vibrant and friendly community feel and is a great place to sample good food and also take some lovely photos.
As well as food stalls there are also lots of restaurants and bars in the surrounding streets.
You can combine a trip here with a visit to the London Dungeons which are close by or a walk along the Thames Path.
